The big thing

Planning a big life change! A lot of paperwork, research, and mental preparations of leaving my comfort zone. It's exciting and terrifying in equal parts. I will be sharing about this when the time is right.

Health

Post-thyroid cancer, doing well and stable. Regular check-ups, but I recently discovered that my ferritin levels are devastatingly low. Now I know why my hair has been falling out! So I am currently navigating that.. and still focusing on building sustainable routines: sleep, movement, less doom-scrolling.

Writing

Haven't been publishing posts on Side Quests To Freedom. Still haven't figured out a sustainable way to maintain this along with its social media pages linked here. I'm actually in a slump here. It's taken a step back due to priorities.

Building

  • My dedicated development subdomainI figured that dumping all the versions of myself in this one website makes it harder to maintain a clear identity. So I am building a separate subdomain for my development work. Still work in progress though.
  • My sister's portfolio siteShe's a content creator and influencer, and I am building her a proper online home.
  • This blog, obviously.

Learning

  • PolishVery, very early beginner. The kind of beginner where every lesson feels like a small miracle.
  • SpanishA2, 800+ day Duolingo streak and counting. At this point it's part of my identity.

Not doing right now

The gym 😔 priorities shifted and something had to give. Still moving though: yoga and light weight training at home, which honestly might be more sustainable anyway.
